What other great veggie boards do you recommend?

So what other veggie sites with great boards do you all like? I'm looking to expand, possibly replace, my main veggie board and would love to find which sites the majority of you great VegWebbers visit to see your familiar faces! :)
ok, this is making me really sad! i don't want to give up vegweb! if everyone goes away vegweb won't be cool anymore... noooooo....
Me too Hespedal, me too... :'(
But if we can't even have threads about relevant issues without one overly sensitive person making out of line comments based on twisting the facts, assuming the worst of the intention of a thread, and inciting others and then not even being warned while lesser crimes are being punished... what do we have left?? Oh yeah. Food topics.
(Do I seem pissed? I am.)
i am, too. but i like everyone here. why can't we go back to normal?
I have checked out the veggieboards.com that has an ad on the left. It is a little overwhelming, but you can find a specific board for what you want to talk about. It is worth checking out. Do you ever go to the veggie yahoo answers (http://answers.yahoo.com/dir/;_ylt=AiT57aJjclP7hVGMTnFgBBh16xR.;_ylv=3?link=list&sid=396546874) ? It is a great place too.
But I'm not trying to replace vegweb or anything. It is just nice to have a few places to go.
craigslist.org (or .com, depending on what ya like 8)) also has a "vegan" forum.
craftster.com (or is it org?) also has a cooking/veg*n board.
i've seen a couple others. veggieboards are pretty good but, last time i was using them (couple years ago) they were more like troll city than veggieboards.
craftster.org :)

Awww...Hespedal, you're such a sweetie. :)

aw, thanks, sb. that is why your my bff.
NOOOOOO!! Don't leave Vegweb. This site is the best one I found, in my opinion. I mean, every board has its share of trolls and nut-cases, but this one has far less than most. If I see a bad post, I ignore it, and move on. No biggy ;)
And I agree with BP. I was a member of 6 or 7 different boards. Bad idea. But I picked the best three to visit regularly (Vegweb, one for martial arts, and one for snowboarding). The other two are not busy at all, so Vegweb keeps me plenty busy these days ;)

Amen!
I'm new here. I'm nothing unusual...basic human with advanced computer skills.
I've been visiting http://community.livejournal.com/veganism/. I discovered livejournal almost 10 years ago because a couple of my favorite sci-fi/fantasy authors are using it for their blogs and discussion forums including George R. R. Martin. I keep checking his "not a blog" at http://grrm.livejournal.com/ but his dog is still chewing on his manuscript and hasn't spit it out yet. I think I discovered the veganism section just browsing the livejournal site.
I think I discovered this site when I was looking for a recipe. I was very interested when I saw the VegFriends profiles. I'm like 50 years old now and the right woman just hasn't appeared by traditional means...I'm getting desperate...I paid for Great Expectations and was very disappointed when there was only 2 girls claiming to be vegetarians, and the tone of the dates I went on indicated that the general use of that service was to find people to date with no desire for finding a mate...just people using other people. And, I recently joined eHarmony.com hoping because then I could be sure they were only singles who desire what I desire...someone to start a family with, but vegetarians are far and few between...statistically it looks like it might take several years before a moral vegan woman with a desire to start a family actually gets matched with me. I suggested to the eHarmony administrators that they provide an option for people to indicate their food preference...which I think is a lot more important than their religious preference or ethnic origins...but doubt that they will provide that crucial screening process and I'll have to continue to read through a dozen profiles a day hoping to find someone that indicates they are the least bit open to shedding the evil we know as "eating meat".
Now that I see how many women have profiles here I would like to discuss topics with them in a casual way to see if any of them really click with me before I go waving and sending them messages...there's loads of stuff about people that just can't be put in a profile, but is readily evident during open discussions. I spent a couple of days trying to figure out where to start topics about stuff that I am thinking about, but on vegweb.com it just seems to be this "Recipe Q & A" section...in fact the only "forum" here seems to be only about recipes. Now it's starting to seem fairly strange that this site is offering vegfriends profiles, but no way to openly discuss topics with them other than recipes...without getting frowned upon by the site admin(s) who obviously are not providing this site for that purpose.
Shouldn't we then take the VeggieBoards.com link as a sign the admin(s) of vegweb.com are endorsing VeggieBoards.com as the place to discuss non-recipe related topics? I think it would be great if all of us created an account on VeggieBoards.com with the same username that we have here...and provide links between them both (one sided links from one account may indicate that the same person does not own both accounts) so that we can discuss whatever on VeggieBoards.com and if we find someone that we click with then use the vegfriends profiles to see if they are interested in a serious relationship...or I suppose those people that are already satisfied with their situation can see if they are interested in penpal, friendship, or whatever.
Just a thought.
