Update on Christian the lion guys

This is a video from the Today Show with the two guys who had Christian the lion and brought him to Africa to live.  It has the same video but also the two guys now.

There are also some pictures of Christian that weren't shown on the other video.  At the end, they talk about how their chance meeting with Christian changed their lives, as they are both involved in conservation, as well as conservation land, all due to Christian.  You may need some tissues handy again.

On a side note, some of the other animal videos there are interesting, too, including dogs that can read (wow!), a live seal found in the back seat of a car, and so on.  If you see the one on the manatee who has spent his entire 60 years in captivity (born into it), the woman in that video who states captive elephants live to be 60 is WRONG, as in that is the exception, not the rule.  In the wild, elephants can live into their 60s.  They age similar to humans.  In captivity, they can live to 60 but the average life span of an elephant is about HALF that of in the wild, but maybe you already knew that.  She steamed me when she said that because she sounds like most of them in captivity live to be 60 and that's not true and is so misleading.  Also, there is a good one called Feeding the Silent Victims, which is about a 12-year-old girl who has a website and is helping shelters in her area get food for their dogs through online clicks.  I could go on (and on) but I'll spare you. :-X  See for yourself, if you wish.

I'm exhausted today, I know, but I totally misread the thread title. Visions of the Coliseum danced through my head. I read it as: Update on Christians and the lions, guys... :-D

Ye olde sleep-deprived eejit will now go to bed.
