This was on MSN this morning and it made me angry and so sad. I couldn't imagine police barging into my home and murdering my beloved furry companions. :'(

Not even an apology from the police!
Surreal...the cops don't know the mayor's name, or even where he lives??? Nice safe place to live in.
I can't even tune up my mouth to express how I feel about them shooting the dogs. Not even recognised "dangerous breed" dogs either--I've never heard of an attack-trained...Labrador?
What is happening to the world? :'(
At the very least I would sue the two "officers" involved in the shooting of the dogs. And, as mayor, take steps to have them removed from the force. (I know, it's not that easy except in 1970's movies. But I can hope.)

All of my thoughts rolled into YG's.
omg! I don't even have words.
Here is a link to Prince George's County Police Dept. website in case anyone wanted to send a letter, email, or give em' a call.

That is really ridiculous and uncalled for.
I just wanted to add re: the 'dangerous breed' thing - I've worked in various kennels over the past few years, and the only dogs that have ever bitten me intentionally were labs or retriever crosses. Alot of small ones have gone for me but didn't succeed. Met some awesome dobermans, pit bull-type dogs, rotties, shepherds etc. who I trust more than certain labs, but I don't think the breed has much to do with it. It's how people train (or don't train) their dogs. Just sayin.
This article sucks. Or rather, the situation does.
Did they even wait to find out if the dogs were agressive--or did they just shoot the dogs "for fun"? Shooting at a terrified dog as it runs away must really take some...brains. :-X
Some people think with their firearm, as has been proven time and time again.
I used to live in a town nearby and no surprise, the Prince George's County police is notorious for bad headlines. I hope there will be some consequences to this! >:(
the fact that the dogs were running away makes it totally unacceptable. that poor family.
