Yea, I never thought I would use those two words next to each other, but this is awesome!

It's a good first step to cleaning up the dairy industry, but it will only work if it is enforced.
When I saw "Hooray Walmart" I thought, yes! the whole Wal-Mart chain has been dissolved, and its profits donated to local area small businesses, green programs, and all of their underpaid workers. But I guess this is sort of a start... too bad they don't say anything about antibiotics, and the other sorts of drugs they inject into milk cows. Maybe we can get them to promote fair labor laws and safe working conditions for milk cows! I'll get to work on the draft proposal.
Hey Cammers! Haven't seen you in awhile! Good call on the proposal!
I'll thorw them some kudos too--they are still evil, but every little step helps--it's like collecting rain drops, takes forever to get a full galss, but once you get there...you know how it goes...
okay. i'll start a pool to guess how long it'll be until we see a news article saying that hormones were found in their milk.
man i am such a debbie-downer today.

agreed.
Also, I tend to agree with the notion that this (as well as "hormone free" in general) can kind of backfire (from the standpoint of veganism and AR anyway) and just make people consume more milk, thinking it's "healthier"..
I suppose my instinctive distrust of walmart/Whole Foods types makes me a debbie downer too. hmph. sorry. :(
