Just saw this news story.
Pretty interesting to me. I like that it drives home a certain equality of animal life that we often neglect and try to act like dogs are gods graced animals and cows are a lower thing with no such rights.

Yes, I think omni's think this way, but I would hope there are plenty of vegans and vegetarians who have come to the realization that animals are animals and you can try to justify eating one animal but not another, but it doesn't really make sense.
Did you see the photo attached to the article with the dogs in the cage in Korea? I wanted to cry. :'( Poor dogs!
I think I'll forward this to a few people--after all, it's odd that omni's will eat cows and pigs, etc., but they won't eat dogs. Maybe this will be an eye-opener for someone.
In some parts of southern Spain some people will eat cats. It's kind of an open secret, there's even a truckstop called "Venta Matagatos" (The Cat-Killer Cafe). Technically it's not actually legal but that doesn't bother them.
