Do any of you play this on the Wii? Katie is looking for someone who does, she needs to visit their town and get some of their fruit. She has peaches in her town.

That one commercial where the two ladies are talking on the phone about all this great stuff they're doing-walking on the beach, collecting shells, some other such stuff...and they are in animal crossing. I think..

I had bought a Wii with my ex boyfriend, 50/50 and after we broke up he said he was keeping it for payment due to emotional trauma. I had to hang up with him after that comment.

Ex boyfriend is dumb. You could sue him in a civil court of law or something ridiculous to match his level of ridiculousness.

You have to plan the visits? I thought you could just go explore the town...?
We tried this with one of my friends. If you want someone to visit you (or go visit someone) you have to leave your gate open, and you have to have the game on.
So you have to pick a time to both be on.
Unless I realllllly did something wrong or misunderstood, which is all too possible.
When I played it on DS that is how it was. You have to open your gate and be present. For the sake of swapping fruit it's not a big deal so much. I mean, I'll be home tomorrow evening and Katie can explore my town while I make dinner if she wants. Talk to all my animals, go see my (almost empty) museum...
