If you look at all the recipes in the newsletter, you'll notice one dessert category that's conspiciously absent: cookies! That's because I'm giving you the chance to win a copy of Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero's ode to cookies, Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar (http://ow.ly/2brXz). This book is filled with so many recipes, you'll be baking the entire summer and into the fall. Seriously, if you don't fall in love with caramel pecan bars, there is no hope for you.
For a chance to win a copy, let me know what your favorite summer dessert is!
Giveaway ends on Tuesday, July 20th at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random!
Good luck!

because blueberries are fresh and in season! The best thing I've done with them so far this summer was a blueberry cheezecake with a graham cracker crust. NOM
Frozen berries, slightly thawed.
Fresh fruit! A whole orange, or better yet a ripe mango.

Pistachio gelato!
Any sort of frozen dessert, but especially sorbet and italian ice!
Sticky rice cooked in coconut milk, add palm sugar, served with extra coconut cream & fresh mango slices on top. Rice cooker doesn't heat up the kitchen but still a really rich dessert (fresh fruit & smoothies are great, but those are breakfast/lunch/dinner, not dessert! ;))

Gary - In a Little Town in Northern NY ;D
Lemon sorbet with fresh berries on top (especially blueberries!). Yum!
