Hello, hello!
Not sure what to write but here goes nothing!
My name is Minke (obviously not in real life, I'm not a whale :P), I will be 21 in 5 days and I have been vegan for 8 years now. I am a college student and I live in NY (not NYC) and will be moving to Vermont in the fall. I have been using this site for years and just recently realized it had a forum.....even know it says Forum at the top of the page. *palmface*
Not sure what else you would like to know but if you have any questions, I might have an answer! :)

Hi there and welcome! What kind of fish do you have? Freshwater? I'm generally perceived to be a dog person, but I used to tend a ridiculous amount of tanks and I really enjoyed it.
I have 2 bettas.

;D guilty as charged...what can I say -I never do, I overdo.
Back when I (only) had 4 dogs I was a fish freak (with one handsome betta in a tank in the bedroom). Too hot for that here though (no air conditioning). Now I see fish when I swim instead.
I've heard great things about Vermont as well. It's high on my list for a vacation destination.

Hi Minke, where-ish in Vermont? My family lives in Plattsburgh, NY which is right across Lake Champlain from lovely Burlington, VT. I always struggle with the winters up North, but otherwise I think Vermont is gorgeous and delightful, and most likely more vegan friendly than a lot of other places.
I never knew Minke was a girls name, lol!
In NY, I live in the Capital District. In VT, I'll be living in Johnson (near Canada).
