Sort of New...

Hello!
I'm sort of new here, as in, I've tried a lot of recipes but haven't been very involved otherwise. It seems like there are a lot of nice people here and I would like to meet other people like me!
My household is quite diverse... it is Vegan me, Omnivore boyfriend, and Carnivore cat. We don't always eat the same things, but we love each other a lot! I am definitely interested in meeting people who are in similar situations!

We're a 2 veg*n household, but we're greatly outnumbered by our pack of meat-eaters.
They still mooch my food, but I'm not interested in theirs.
welcome, sounds like we're in similar boats. I'm vegan and my wife and daughter aren't.

:) thanks. These days I'm pretty strict about enforcing the no mooching rule (they can look as pitiful as they want, but no touching me when I eat!) because we 2 humans are desperately outnumbered. If I start giving out treats, I end up with none and the pack of moochers just keeps growing. More than once I've ended up with only one bite from a banana. :D
Um... yeah, you should see the amazing feats my other wise chubby / lazy cat has accomplished in the name of left over cereal milk (soy or otherwise).

I'm in the same boat as you. Me vegan, omni husband, omni kids, and 2 dogs who will eat anything that they can get their hands on = their food or otherwise. :-D
My DH did recently say that he might as well go vegan since I have, but we'll see if he means it...First time since I went vegan early this year that I heard him say anything. Out of habit now, he buys more and more vegan stuff and less non-vegan. Here's hoping!
Good luck with that! I dont think my boyfriend will even be vegan, but he eats very healthy (when hes home, god knows when hes at work) and respects ans supports me 100%.
And yes, dogs are the most indiscriminate eaters on the planet. It doesnt even have to be food. Roll of duck tape? Yum!

I'm in the same boat with my husband. If he becomes vegan, that's his choice. I don't want him to do it just for me. it's definitely got to be a self-motivated move in my opinion.
The roll of tape is a funny one. My Chocolate lab used to tip our garbage can everyday. I can only imagine what he ate. Finally, we broke down and bought a fairly pricy one, but he can't open the lid, so it's been worth the money!
