Hello everyone!
I've been on vegwebs for a little while, just kinda lurking around really. :P
I took the plunge into veganism straight from being an omnivore about 3 months ago, and it's probably one of the best things I've ever done. I feel great. I just thought about going vegan for weeks, and one day, I just did it.
I also live on a farm, with my family of DAIRY farming tycoons. (They still don't know I'm vegan). :-X
So, a little about meeeeee...
I'm a chick in my late teens, living in a small town on the tip of the North Island in New Zealand.
I'm into theatre,piercings, going to concerts, art, literature and feeling good.
So yeah, looking forward to chatting with all of you. :)

Hi! Welcome to vegweb - I'm sure you'll love it here.
There's a few people who post regularly who are from New Zealand - and I'm going to (hopefully) be emigrating from the UK to Wellington next year. I have heard that it's not the most vegan friendly country, so well done you on sticking with it.
Make sure you come a post on the forums as well as using all the amazing recipes - it's all so fun!

Hi Shahle, welcome from a fellow kiwi! I live in Auckland, as does at least one other vegwebber, we're always pleased to see some Aotearoa representation on here!
Congrats on making the plunge straight from omnivore to vegan, hope it's going really well for you.

i'm in Blenheim from the top of the south island, i just recently swapped to vegan from vegetarian and probably signed up to this website around the same time you did, i've been vegan for about three-four months now.
how are you finding this website so far?
i live in small town too well i really live out of town , and there is so much farming around here it gets depressing!
it's quite awesome to see another vegan new zealander on here from around the same age group! yay!
