vital wheat gluten flour or vital wheat gluten?

I want to make dragonfly's ribs. I went to the store and found a bag of vital wheat gluten flour, and then a box of vital wheat gluten.
Are they the same thing? I bought the bag that said flour and made the ribs already, but I was just curious if there was a difference.

The box of Vital Wheat Gluten is what you want. If I recall the vwgflour is just flour with a bit more vwg in it. The ribz may not turn out chewy but bready.

Is "Vital" the brand name, or is there something special about vital gluten?
I can't seem to find vital wheat gluten anywhere. I've found the vital wheat gluten flour at different stores, but I guess that's not the same thing? On the one package, it says to add 1 tbsp of the VWG flour to every so many cups of regular flour, so I'm thinking maybe it can be used for the same things as plain VWG?
Any thoughts? I've never used it before.

I think vital is the brand. I've never ever seen it in Canada but I do see gluten flour, which I've used to make seitan.
vital is just used in front of wheat gluten for some reason. probably because it makes it sound healthy!
I don't think "vital" is the brand because I have a box by Hodgson Mill I'm looking at.
Sounds to mee like the flour is flour with the vital wheat gluten added for bread making (by machine). For seitan making I think the VWG without the flour should be used.
i thought VWG only came in powdered form? Is there a solid form of it? I've been using the powder (flour) to make my seitan recipes
