vegan whole wheat bagels

Now that i've baked with yeast, I would really like to make these bagels http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=5646.0 but I'm wondering if I could sub all of the white flour with wheat flour? It seems like its impossible to find whole wheat bagels, so it would be great if I could make them myself!

You should be ok subbing the whole wheat flouir for the white flour.  I would add some vital wheat gluten to the mixture to help with the texture.  Some of the reviews will give  you ideas.

I agree with monkey. Add like 1-2 tablespoons vital wheat gluten.

Yep. I've made them before and never use white flour. It's been awhile, but my review of the recipe says I used some added gluten.
