Strange potato question

As many of you know, I eat microwaved potatoes for breakfast instead of bread. I just wondered, has anyone tried sweet toppings on a potato? Like say PB and jelly, or just jelly, or applesauce, or some such? Yes, I know--if I want to know all I have to do is try it. But I'm aware this is pretty weird. Knowing as I do that weirdness is a common thing when it comes to food, I'm asking. Has anyone already done this and knows that a) it works or b) it's a nightmare?
I know, it sounds odd. But I've learned not to knock something until I've tried it. Since the idea came to me unbidden, I decided my tastebuds knew better than me. And I was right.
I tried a small PB and J potato this morning. I think preserves (the kind with bits of fruit) would be better than jelly. I added a little butter before putting on the PB, which was Peter Pan chunky (the only kind I can get here.)
Definitely so far the best choice is apple sauce or another fruit butter. Maybe PB and applesauce? It did satisfy the craving.
I have roasted potatoes with a maple syrup glaze--freaking awesome! It's got that sweet and salty thing going for it! Hmmm...I wonder what mashed potatoes with pb and j would taste like...
