Soy Milk vs. Rice Milk

Anyone know if Soy or Rice milk is better for you? I have been drinking soy for a long time, but am thinking of switching over to Rice Milk (it tastes better). But of course if Soy is better, I'll stay with that.
Rice milk does not have the nutritional value that soy does, but it is usually very fortified. Hemp milk is a great alternative, very nutritious if you want to get away from soy.
Why would you feel the need to drink it for health reasons? Or do you just drink it for taste?
The only reason I ask is become many vegans fall into the "I have to have a substitute for milk" trap that the dairy industry has trapped them in.
Vegan milks are full of sugar, and you can get good nutrition without drinking it.
Try Almond milk...its great, I like it better than soy or rice milks
Soy is very contraversial.
On the one hand it's a complete protein, it contains calcium (I erm, think) it's got several good mini nutrients in it.
On the other it is inconclusive, there are claims that it inhibits absorption of nutrients.
There are reports of it making men infertile but these have from all I can tell been based on faulty experiments.
Hemp seems pretty good, can't find anything wrong with that (yet).

SOO much better. Not really a need to drink it for health- drink it for taste and cereal. Getting the fortified ones help, but I mean...If you want calcium and protein, eat broccoli and nuts.
Thanks for all of your replies! I only use "milk" for cereal, coffee, and some cooking. Nuts and broccoli are in my diet almost every day so, I guess I really don't use it for nutritional reasons. I was thinking about trying almond milk. I guess I'll just use which ever one tastes the best.
I try to mix it up: soy for a bit, then one week almond, then another week rice. I do this for variety and so I am not over consuming any one product.
Soy is good in pinch or if your diet hasn't been to healthy because it is fortified and an easy way to get some protein.

If you're going for taste, then I would definitely try almond. I use it in my cereal and use the unsweetened version and it's quite good with cereal.

That's a really good idea! Maybe I should start doing that.
I find that soy milk has a thicker consistency that makes it my first choice to substitute into baked goods. However, for cereals and whatnot, I agree with everyone that you should just go for what you find tasty.
from my experiences:
hempsmilk= great for drinking with desserts, mixing into broths.
soymilk= great for cooking with and baking, mixing into coffee.
almond milk= great for cereals, stirring into oatmeal, and other breakfasty-foods.
rice milk= great with desserts.
