Soy Crumbles

I was wondering if anyone has made their own soy crumbles? I would like to give it a try in order to decrease my trips to the market and to save money. Any help is appreciated.
No, but I ran a seitan "loaf" through my food processor. They work really well for crumbles and it's really cheap to make.
I do it all the time. Just freeze/thaw/squeeze/dry some tofu....then crumble it/chop it into small pieces into a hot pan with oil..sautee until browned all around, add whatever seasonings you want (cumin, chili powder, cayenne for "Mexican" crumbles....fennel..sage..for "sausage" type crumbles....you can do anything!). I like to add a little bit of soy sauce to mine after they are done browning..for flavor and color-just enough so that all the pieces absorb some....and you're done!
Oooh! That's such a great idea AllyChristine! Gotta try that one soon! ;)b
Yeah, thanks! Let me know what kind you make, and how they turn out! :)
