I just tried this: World's easiest ice cream recipe, and WOW! It is so delicious. Maybe this is old news here on VW, but I didn't find anything on a quick search, so I though I would share the love. :)
I had frozen the bananas to make banana bread, and luckily for me, I had already cut them in chunks so they would fit in the container better. Ready to go! I made it in my food processor, and it didn't take long to become smooth and creamy. It definitely still tasted like bananas, but it didn't need any additional sweetener. I would go great with your favorite sundae toppings.
Frozen banana "ice cream" is awesome! My husband thought he had invented it when he asked an ice cream place (that didn't have anything vegan except bananas) to make it for him - ha!
This one explains how to add a a 2-ingredient "chocolate syrup": http://www.choosingraw.com/this-post-will-change-your-life/. I believe Gena mentions in some other posts on that blog that you can mix it up by adding some other frozen fruits to the bananas, too - I've done this successfully with papayas and every type of berries.
My little sister posted this one on my FB wall the other day, to make sure I know that vegans are conquering everyone. It has step-by-step photos: http://www.thekitchn.com/thekitchn/tips-techniques/stepbystep-instructions-for-oneingredient-ice-cream-097170
