Yes. At least the all natural, organic kind. It's a by-product from when they process sugar cane. I don't think animal products or by-products are used in it.

I was wondering about that. I heard that it's a syrup produced in refining sugar.That could mean two different things though processing the sugar cane like you said or it has something to do what they do with the bone char and the sugar I think.
