marinade for Patty Pan Squash

I just came back from the market & came across some interesting little squash. I've never had Patty Pan squash & I love squash, so I bought them.
I am going to grill them tonight with some fresh green beans, mushrooms & sweet peppers. I am kind of stuck on what to marinade them with....sweet? spicy? I really need ideas. Thank you
Should I grill tomatoes too?

I love patty pan!
The only thing I've ever done is slice them in to "patties" and grill in a pan with olive oil, S and P.
A marinade sounds great though. Maybe Balsamic, garlic, agave, and oil?

What is left of, what once was Hurricane Gustov has turned a gorgeous sunny day rainy, windy & dull...so I think we won't be grilling the veggies, unless I can talk DH into standing outside in the rain LOL  Anyways, I am going to roast them in the oven. I am looking forward to trying the Patty Pans  :)

Earlier this week I stuffed one, it was delish! Blanch it in boiling water first (5 min or so), cut the top off, scrape out the guts. I sauteed the guts in some local butter (use EB), shallots, fingerling potatoes, fresh corn cut off the cob, and tomato. I only seasoned with pepper and salt. Stuff the filling back in and back at 350 until the squash is done. It was pretty wonderful and I'm glad I have a few more patty pans!

The roasted patty pans were delicious. They almost taste like zucchini. I bought the little ones at market today but next time I go, I will get the bigger ones. Thanx Ranu for the idea....stuffed sounds awesome :)
