Hi all...I am hoping for some help as I have searched the internet and came up empty handed trying to find the recipe for Wild Oat's Tahini Chip cookie. All it contains is tahini, oat flour, oats, vegan chocolate chips, raisins, agave nectar and sunflower seeds i think... Anyone know of a similar recipe to produce the same cookie like the one they sell at Wild Oats or perhaps a renegade employee of Wild Oats could 'borrow' the recipe and share it with me....??!! Thanks so much :)
are you very skilled at cookie making? if so you can probably play around with it.
i would say add the tahini and sugar (the tahini can act as the oil/marg. in the recipe) then add some oat flour and oats until it gets to cookie consistency, and add the other things to your liking. seems weird there are so few ingredients...
well...not super skilled. ;) I just looked at what Wild Oats listed as the ingredients on the cookie bin...I suppose it could include something like baking soda and they just don't list it?? I cook a lot but find baking to be much more scientific and requiring correct amounts and ratios to usually turn out well! And I hate the idea of my wasting a bunch of food if the cookies don't come out right from my 'experimentation'.
I've been going nutso trying to find Wild Oats' vegan chocolate chip cookie recipe. I love that cookie. That tahini chip cookie sounds great too. Hope someone here has one or both of those recipes.
yeah, i really am intrigued and i want to try it now. i am pretty good with cookies so maybe soon i will try to experiment and see what i can come up with.
