longevity of a butternut squash?

hello,
does anyone know how long a butternut squash will last in the fridge? i've had one in there for 12 days that i got in my CSA box. the enclosed letter usually tells you how long each item will last, but unfortunately that information was omitted from this letter. is the squash still good? any insight would be appreciated. thanks!
What a coincidence! I just made this recipe tonight with a butternut squash I've had since the end of June. I bought it for a cake that I ended up not making. It was perfectly fine even after over 3 months sitting on a shelf in my kitchen (not refrigerated--and I live in the Mojave desert):

thanks! that soup does look really good-- did you roast the garlic or the squash, or just follow the directions as stated in the recipe?
I roasted the garlic and squash in the oven for about 35-45 minutes at 375 like suggeted in the comments. :)
