ize cream

hello there vegetables..

I am wondering, does anybody here have an ice cream recipe they ware willing to share, that involves NO soy products whatsoever?

I am thinking along the lines of oatmilk as a main ingredient.. help me out yea?

maybe even hemp milk...

I don't have a recipe, but... did you just refer to us as vegetables? Oddly enough, I don't find that offensive at all. Just perplexing. I suppose it's better than calling us fruits. lol

i want to be a fruit.

Me too.  As much as I love broccoli, I'm a hardcore fruit junkie.

It's so awesome at making homemade ice cream.  I'll usually put in some frozen fruit and some type of liquid - you can use almond milk, i use coconut milk kafir (especially love the strawberry flavor when i'm making strawberry ice cream), etc.

for example, if you have some frozen bananas, pop them in, with a dash of vanilla and a small amount of liquid - this comes out with a perfect ice cream consistency.

you can do a frozen mango and pineapple

another of my favorites, frozen strawberry and strawberry flavored coconut milk kefir.

these don't taste like sherbert - they taste like "ice cream"  you can then make a blueberry (insert fruit of choice) compote and pour on top of the ice cream.  or put the ice cream on top of pie or cake...or, or or...well - you get the idea :)

The easiest and healthiest vegan ice cream around is also my favorite:

The texture is really closer to frozen yogurt, but you can vary it by adding other frozen fruits (papaya is awesome, for one).
