Okay, so I am pressed for time in the mornings preparing my lunch, and I thought coconut butter woud be a great compliment to my everyday meals! The only problem is, it's solid under 76 degrees, I want to keep it raw, and I need a very fast way to heat it to just melting point (anywhere under 105 - 110 degrees is fine). And this is Coconut BUTTER, not OIL! You know, like the nut butters? It's artisana brand.
By the way, my house is always around 65 - 70 degrees, so it's never spreadable straight from the jar.
on this blog http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/ there are tonsss of ideas for coconut butter...i think her most simple one ( to keep it raw) is to buy a really inexpensive candle warmer, and stick the coconut butter jar on the candle warmer!
