My friend has a tube of Lightlife Gimme Lean "ground beef". She wants to know how long it would be good for after the "Buy By" date.

we have talked about expiration dates before. I think we all agree on smelling it and eating it if it doesn't smell bad!

If you freeze it, I think it would keep at least 6 months to a year from when you froze it. If it is refrigerated, I would only give it a week or maybe two after that date. If you really want to know, you could contact Lightlife on their website.
