Can you soften hardened veggie broth powder?

I have a can of Knorr veggie broth mix and it's gotten hard. This happens all  the time to me. This time I thought I had it figured out because I put the can in a zip lock baggie. It worked for awhile but now it's all one big lump. Does anyone know how to soften it up (Does anyone else have the problem when question marks or apostrophes do not work Here is what I get when I try to do a question mark: É and here is an apostrophe: É I figure I have hit a button or something.)

maybe a piece of stale bread in the container? i know with brown sugar you put bread in to keep it from getting hard (keeps moisture in) but i think that with broth powder, when it gets moisture in that's what turns it into a lump  (this is all speculation, i'm probably way off base) so maybe a stale piece of bread will help draw the moisture out?  though this might be more prevention than problem solving now... :P

i second the bread or cracker thing... it won't fix it but will prevent it.
also, do you keep it over your stove??

No, I keep it in my pantry which is not near the stove.

Can you run it in the blender?  Then, store it with bread or a cracker.

Oh yeah!  Terra cotta!  I've seen little terra cotta disks sold specifically for brown sugar.  I forgot about that.

I know that they sometimes put rice in salt to keep it from clumping.  Maybe a few grains of uncooked rice?

Thanks for all your suggestions. I may just buy new stuff and try the terra cotta thing. I've been craving lemon rice soup ever since I went to a Greek restaurant for my birthday and the carnivores had it. I know you can easily make a veggie version.

Ooo blending it would work to fix it! Good idea!
