Cabbage

I bought some organic cabbage that was on sale early today.....now what?! I never ever buy cabbage or use cabbage for some reason (I used to years ago to make coleslaw). Any great "cabbage" ideas? ::)
I just wanted to say that I tried this recipe last week and it's faaaantastic!
Yay! I'm glad you liked it. Did you happen to make note of the cooking time? I'll make it again soon and really post it with a cooking time. I've never made it with purple cabbage; it looks really pretty with the orange!
Since we're talking cabbage, here are a couple of my favorites:
Mom's Cabbage Soup http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=11076 This is so simple and so tasty! If you haven't tried this, definitely put this into your fall/winter menu file! (I halve this recipe, and it still makes a ton. I also add an onion. The recipe measurements are a little vague. I noted what I use in my recipe comments.)
Bubble & Squeak http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=11318 It's all about cabbage and potatoes! (Instead of making this into patties and frying, I just put in a pan and bake it. I noted this in my recipe comments.)
Make fried rice with it.

Sorry. I pretty much never take note of time when I'm cooking! This is a bad thing for dinner parties! ;)
