Taste of Health Festival (Vancouver BC - Sept 29 & 30)

I'm volunteering at this festival and I thought some people might be interested to hear about it.  It's going to be aaaawesome!

Taste of Health returns! : Sept 29 - 30th

What you eat can slow down global warming and climate change.

The 9th annual Earthsave Canada Taste of Health Veggie Food Fair includes exhibits, workshops, presentations, a veggie food court, and cooking demonstrations, all designed to showcase plant-based foods and earth friendly products. Be green - bring your shopping bags - there are some great deals to be found in the exhibitor’s hall.  When you are ready to relax stop by the Wellness Stage.

Taste, buy and learn about great-tasting foods and discover products and services that fit a wholesome sustainable lifestyle.  At the same time discover how your eating habits can make a difference to global warming.

EarthSave Canada is a nonprofit, educational organization promoting awareness of the health, environmental and ethical consequences of our food choices. We advocate the move towards a plant-based diet for better health, environmental sustainability, and compassion for animals.

I went a few years ago when it was at the round house in Vancouver proper.  There were too many people in too small a space and I kinda got claustrophobic and felt the need to leave in a jiffy  :o

If I can ditch the twinkies with my hubby I'll see if I can make it out!

Thanks,

This is my first year going, but the Croatian Cultural Centre is a pretty awesome venue so hopefully it won't be claustrophobic!  I hope you can make it.  :)
