Let's talk about it! Europe sounds amazing, but I don't know how feasible that is, for us.
I like the idea of Chicago, Portland, NYC, or maybe Austin. I'm pretty open at this juncture.
eta: I can't decide b/w Portland and Chicago! I voted for Portland..I want to know who else did!
I voted for Portland, but they all would be great places to have it

lubes! ;)b
Can you make it a "choose 3" or "choose 2" type of poll? I can't pick one.

I had choose 2, but then I thought that would be too complicated...I'll change it back to 2.
eta: I can't! You'll have to choose one for now, but I did make it so that you could change a vote, and we can have another poll later.
I picked Chicago because 1) depending on the time of year I will probably be able to go without having to spend a billion dollars and 2) it is awesome ^-^
Also, we never really have any Midwest meetups.
eta: although I'm out in the burbs, I would totes host someone (SARAH THIS MEANS YOU. YOU MUST CONVINCE YOUR MOTHER THAT A TRIP TO ILLINOIS TO MEET INTERNET VEGANS IS NECESSARY TO LIVE). The train ride to downtown is less than an hour and is pretty cheap.
I voted for Chicago. Then I changed it and voted for NYC. I'll probably change it again.
eta: AC we should have it in NYC and you and P could come stay here with meeeeeeeeee beforehand.
I voted for Seattle. But I might change it and vote for Portland. Can't decide.
I voted for Asheville because it's awesome and I can definitely go if it's there.
SECONDED
Tampa bay??
I could drive to asheville......
but Chicago is usually a cheap flight.....
I haven't been to NYC in a long time......
never been to Portland or Seattle.....
i voted Santa Monica cause it's close but i will travel i wanna meet some of u guys next year im bummed i didn't know about San Francisco soon enough i would have went! :(
i voted portland cause it is crazy vegan friendly and beautiful.
i wouldn't have a problem with it if it happened there (because it's close to me :)), but why is santa monica an option? what is there? is it just because it's close to LA?
ok, now i see why we have santa monica. i still think there are other place around santa monica that are more veg friendly, though.
Tampa would be the WORST idea ever. Jeez. Talk about ultimate fail.
The only place in FL that is acceptable would be Gainesville... and Orlando.
I just put all the places that people had mentioned. I have no idea what Santa Monica is like. I'm likin' the PDX votes, though.
Awesome. I'm liking this voting so far. If it continues, there will be no further discussion needed. ;)
If it is in portland (and I'm still living in the same or similar sized spot), I can easily host 2 people comfortably, 3 (if everyone loves eachother!) 4 if people don't mind completely sleeping on the floor/in hallways/etc. (possibly more, if there is room for my tent)
I have a smallish couch/love seat, camp mat that's the equivalent to a twin mattress, twin airbed, and a queen airbed....and bedding for all of them, plus two sleeping bags and Pound Puppies and Purries for all to cuddle.
r u guyz waiting all the way till next summer to have a meet up?
