This recipe was kind of hard to follow. I had to write out all the ingredients before hand, so I didn't forget anything but WOW, is it ever tasty! Leftovers the next day were even better.
No, sorry I haven't tried subbing applesauce yet, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I think for the first attempt, I'd do half applesauce & half oil.
