Allychristine added a comment on the recipe Peanut Butter and Pickle Sandwich :
Well.. I was quite skeptical..I've often heard of this, but never wanted to try it..but I did! I used lots of peanut butter, some pickles, a little garlic powder and salt, and toasted bread.

Yumyumyum. I wasn't expecting so much flavor! I had to do some modifications (probably taking away some authenticity..), but it still turned out wonderfully.
Allychristine added a comment on the recipe Amazing Rosemary Bread:
WOW-this bread must be absolutely fool proof. I could tell from the very beginning that my yeast wasn't active (it didn't bubble at all), but I went ahead with it.
Allychristine added a comment on the recipe Amazing Rosemary Bread:
I used wheat flour this time...and it wasn't quite as good, but still a great bread!  ^-^

is it okay to use active dry yeast?

Yeah! That's what I always use.
Allychristine added a comment on the recipe Instant Hot Cocoa Mix:
Good idea..to make a mix, but I think the proportions are off a bit. I did a 1/4 cup of each, and it's just not quite sweet enough for me. The cocoa is very strong.
Allychristine added a comment on the recipe Aloo Gobi:
Mmmm. I made a version of this that turned out fabulously.
My pizzas were good! I changed it up quite a bit..
I made these using pecans and packaged coconut. The flavor is great, because it's so coconuty, but I think the baking times need to be tweaked a bit. Overall, it's a great, simple recipe.
Allychristine added a comment on the recipe Crunchy Eggplant with Spicy Sauce:
I really love this! We ran out of soymilk, so I just dusted the eggplant cubes with flour before frying. This worked well. I doubled the sauce, and added more mustard.
