SO HOW'D IT GO?
These were awesome! I never could get a handle of brownies without the just-add-water boxes. So the fact these are vegan, amazing, AND easy is just incredible and probably not good for my belly. Haha. Delicious! :)>>>
Love these! I could never quite make a good brownie before ...even if it was straight out of the box! But WOW! I love them. I used an 8x8 nonstick pan with spray and I didn't have any trouble with sticking. I also used EnerG Egg replacer and found that they held shape perfectly. Added 1/2 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips to the batter even though I was nervous that the batter was too much like cookie dough. But after spreading it out in the pan it was fine. Had to bake about 33 minutes to get them just right. Gooey in the middle but not too gooey and had a perfect thin crusty layer on top. PERFECTION! I am keepin this one. Major Kudos ;)b
oh, but i did have to bake them for 45 minutes, not 25. but it was worth the wait!!
DEE-LISH!!! just made them. yummy!!!!!!
Great recipe. It was more cake-like than what I wanted so I'll try taking it out of the oven before the 20 minutes are up. I used 1/2 coffee and 1/2 water, dissolved the sugar in the wet ingredients and made sure to add water to the ground flax seeds and added some chocolate chips (all different recommendations from others above). Thanks for the recipe! :)
This was a goey treat. I subbed unbleached flour with buckwheat flour and canola oil with grapeseed oil. Fabulous! I also ground up hazelnuts for a topping with a little sprinkle of shredded coconut. Love it! :)>>>
I thought I reviewed this recipe yesterday. Anyway, this a great recipe. Tasty and simple. My first batch was gone within 24 hours :-D. I'm about to make another batch right now. I wish I had enough ingredients to double the recipe. Def going shopping tomorrow. I'm making this for my book club meeting this Sunday :D. My children(who aren't vegan) loved them. Thanks again.
These brownies are awesome! I used apple sauce instead of oil, carob powder instead of cocoa, and only 1/4 c. sugar...and they were yummy!
These brownies are amazing! Absolutely amazing. I added small chocolate chips also. These are the best brownies I've ever tasted, seriously. I used some veg butter to grease the silicon baking pan and they didn't stick at all. This recipe is a keeper. :)>>>
am i reading this right?
so many people didn't use baking powder. my mind is completely boggled.
