SO HOW'D IT GO?
Try a fall version of this recipe: add pumpkin (perhaps a bit over 1/2 c?) instead of banana and oil,, enough water to make it battery-like, and a little cinnamon. I usded sugar sub. and it was light and delicious, not nearly as heavy as the chocolate version. If you don't let it cook the entire time, you get pumpkin pudding.
weirdest "recipe" ive ever tried. could taste the banana in the brownies- best with vanilla ice cream. the longer left out the harder it gets.haha..microwave brownies...
Whole Foods 365 brand semi-sweet choc chips are vegan. And they are cheap. $1.69/bag.
Oh. My. God.
These were amazing. I can't believe I made them in the microwave. I used whole wheat flour, a really ripe banana. and olive oil. I only made half the recipe because I was afaraid I wouldn't be able to stop eating it. Good thing too, because I ate the whole thing before it could completely cool off. I spread some peanut butter on it at the end too, which was divine.
Thank you so much for this recipe. It is the most amazing, coolest brownie recipe in existence. :D ;D
:) This recipe is awesome! The perfect thing for a chocolate fix, ooey, gooey, delicious!
BUT there are some things that need changing, like olive oil to canola oil, cause olive oil has such a strong flavor, it's kinda gross...
I hate bananas, so i omitted them.
And i ended up omitting the oil completely, in place of the oil and the nana, i used 4 oz (one small container) or applesauce (unsweetened). Helped with binding and rising, and no banana or olive tree taste!
Sprinkle choc chips on top! OH SO GOOD! ::)

I was seriously craving carbs and chocolate, preferably together so I made these. Very easy and in 4 1/2 minutes I was biting into a very dense chocolatey brownie. I agree with other posters that you could really taste the banana but I didn't really mind. It hit the spot nicely. Thanks!
Yummm. My roommate and I sat down to this saying, 'oh, this looks good now, I hope it reheats well' and of course, ate the whole darn thing at once!!! I added slightly less sugar and no chocolate chips. These had a funky texture to me- something like baked playdough- I would add a little more liquid next time.
sooo yummy! :D
O.K., I made another batch this afternoon! ::) This time I did it a little different and these were better than the ones we devoured yesterday! This time I added 1/4 c. cocoa + 1/8 c. special dark cocoa, about 2-3 T strawberry all-fruit spread and enough apple sauce to make 1/2 c. It seemed a bit thicker for some reason, so I also added an 1/8 c. water. Then I stirred in 1/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips. These took approx. 4 min. 45 sec. in our microwave. But they are SOOOOOOOO good!! :D I definitely want to try it with a cherry or raspberry preserve! These are great because they make just enough for my family of 4 and they are too incredibly easy!
These were really yummy and extremely quick and simple! My daughter can't eat bananas, so I subbed 1/2 cup of unsweetened apple sauce. I also added an extra 1/8 cup of cocoa powder. We are chocoholics! :D Anyway, it took a little over 5 minutes in our microwave, but they are already half gone. I just made them a few minutes ago! We're saving the last for supper...maybe my husband will get one. ;D Next time I will add the chocolate chips, but I was all out, so a sprinkling of powdered sugar did the trick for us. This one is definitely a keeper...thanks!
