Kidney Bean Patties

What you need: 

1 - 14 ounce can red kidney beans
1 cup porridge oats
1 small onion
2 cloves garlic
1 to 2 tablespoons fruit chutney or relish (i like apricot)

What you do: 

1) Drain, rinse, and then thoroughly mash the kidney beans in a bowl.
2) Finely dice the onion and garlic. Add to the mashed kidney beans, along with the oats, and relish, mix together well.
3) Form into 4 patties. Fry in some olive oil over medium heat until golden brown on each side, and enjoy :)
They're awesome in bread!
