There are already 3 topics on this in the food fight forum (where they belong, just like all other debatable topics), and this one will be joining them there. Just fyi!
It was posted in News based on the description:
Get your daily dose of news from across the globe and discuss the latest and greatest in TV, blogs, books, magazines, and every other medium imaginable.
But I understand why it was moved.

I've posted news articles in that board before, and they've been moved to the "food fight" board afterwards... It's actually for the good of VW forum users:
The forums used to be made of one single board (then called Q & A) in which everything was a mixed bag. Major fights broke out and people complained that there were off-topic, offensive, etc. threads going on the same board as food- and socializing-type threads.
Now that We have a separate board for the more controversial / inflammatory subjects, it's all pretty well categorized and no one can complain about debates going on in other boards.

Yep, exactly! And I personally moved it as a moderating action, as VN is most definitely not removing/modifying posts on VW.
