Also, Baypuppy might be coming to town to do a meet and greet and thesis signing. But she's not promising anything yet. She said she'll have her agent get back to us to see if we can come to agreement on the details.

Well, I had permission from everyone but Dinkfeet. Since she didn't mind posting BVFF pics I will share these.

NYC VegWeb Party!

Note: Cali is in the burnt rust shirt and red coat. Baypuppy is in the blue coat and blue jacket. Cam is in the Herbivore Sweatshirt and blue vest. Dinkfeet is wearing her bright green VegWeb shirt (name included) under a grey vest or tan coat. JKL is seen only briefly in the restaurant shots and she is wearing a cream sweater! The other two lovely people are B and A, friends of Baypuppy, who were great sports!

Lunch! The winner of best appetizer was the vegan Jellyfish and BBQ wheat meat. The best main dish was a tie between the vegan lamb and the sweet & sour vegan chicken. We decided that we had no need to say "vegan" in front of anything at the restaurant as everything already was veggie.

Personally, I liked the peanut butter cannonballs as the best dessert but that could be because I got to eat them for WEEKS afterwards! But Babycakes had lovely cuppers.

Really though, that lamb was amazing. I stuffed myself past the filling point and then felt like I should eat more jellyfish. Yum!
I also took pictures and will probably post a link when I get back to the Alb. I would just like to state that if anyone ever wants to pick out any type of shoe or sandal or footwear, they should first consult Dink. She's a footwear diva.

Regardless, I still fondly remember our assault on NYC as if it were yesterday...Cam got new shoes, I got ALL the leftovers from the lunch, and had tasty vegan chinese for the rest of the week, and I took pics too! Since Cali got everyone's permission 'cept mine, I guess I can tell y'all 'bout the new vegweb Flickr group!
