Ok, folks its been too long since our last *and first ever VW potluck in history* of the New England/ Mid Atlantic -esque crew...
so i have mentioned this to a few of you, but i would be willing to have a get together at my place here in Western Mass this month. Time is a little tight for me, but how about Sun March 23rd or the 30th? would anyone be interested?
ill do the whole mass PM thing once some peeps chime in.

Oh your friends B & A were a lot of fun! Plus they enjoyed the food and didnt dis anything at all (like my friends sometimes do). All sorts of ok in my book!

If Northampton is "on the way," then yes. Actually, I know it's not.. but we don't really have a way to get down to anywhere convenient in Springfield, especially on a Sunday. hmm..Maybe we'll just take out a zipcar.. faster for everyone.

i was thinking of making a vegan "cheeze and snasage and cracker" platter. ha!
perhaps we should RSVP on here with what we plan to bring. i was thinking pizza might be hard if its a big crowd (unless you gots many ovens). but it could be fun to make mini pizzas.
Hmm.. MV makes some super mini pizzas thanks to a family sauce recipe. If we stick with the pizza theme we could bring all the ingredients and then throw them in an oven or toaster oven and they're ready fairly quickly. Or, we could make something that would go along with pizza, like a pasta salad, caesar salad.. or I could just make some delicious hazelnut cupcakes.

i think italien motif sounds fabulous! but dont let it discourage anyone from bringing anything non-italien (ie: dinkersdal!!).

Though, the urge to make my standard lemon cupcakes is rising. Guess thats for THIS weekend (and to mail to my vegantine cus I am late with that!).

I'm all about a "lots" theme. Mayhaps I'll make my aloo gobi and some cupcakes. Those will travel well.

Haha no. I've tried that it the past and failed miserably :) But if anyone is coming that knows how to do it, I'd greatly appreciate a lesson!
the boy is making the old family pizza recipe right now and claims to have thrown alot of pizza back in the day, but our kitchen ceiling is so low I might not be able to make him prove he knows how.
here's what we will plan on bringing:
aloo gobi
caesar salad (I use a modified version of what is supposedly the veggie planet recipe. I believe it because it's measured "by the bucket")
VCTOtW hazelnut cupcakes if I manage not to be lazy.
