YES! I was thinking that the later showing would work better anyway, just to give us all a bit more time to get ready / gather up and whatnot.

Does anybody want to meet up a little bit beforehand, or just meet at the theater a few minutes before the show?

I've got lots of tea that I'd love to share....and like I've said, my apartment is fairly close to The Plaza, too.......just somethin' to think about.

reasons being:
...There are still lots of area VWers that haven't met each other yet.
...The weather is freaking BEAUTIFUL these days, which calls for outdoor fun!
...I've not yet gotten to impress the crap out of any of Y'all with mah mad cooking skillz.
...There are two local RHPS Shadow Cast/midnight screening locations that I know of, neither of which have seen a whole group of vegan internet acquaintances/friends in full Rocky Horror costume glory.
AND
...I'm moving across the country in August, so time is dwindling!

REPO! The Genetic Opera is playing at The Plaza on Saturday, May 16th.

Yes, I'm still batshit crazy about this show, and I so desperately want to share this experience with Y'all. I will even pay Your way in if money is an issue!
Plus, Y'all will get to meet Sanvean aka GucciSac, SoCal's original Repo Man / Bandleader, who looks rather dashing in costume.  :)>>>

don't worry about wearing screen-accurate costumes to the show, either. Like RHPS, it's fun to dress up, and it's easy to come up with something to go with the theme. for REPO! go with any of the following themes: Steampunk, Victorian-inspired, Goth, fancy opera garb, and blood/guts/scars. GIS for other ideas.

Alright, folks...I know I sound like a broken record about this movie...but THIS time, You'll really want to come check out REPO! The Genetic Opera at The Plaza THIS Saturday, for a bunch of good reasons:

There will be a FULL shadowcast performing--with costumes, props, gags, and everything!--along with the movie on screen
Yours truly is part of the shadowcast! I'll be donning several costumes, but the highlight will be my sexy GENtern outfilt.  ^-^
There will be a costume contest with prizes...Just be creative and dress up, it needn't be screen-accurate. Have fun with it
This will be the first performance of 21st Century's Cure, and We'll show Atlanta what the REPO! theatre experience is all about, yo.

.....please, oh pretty pleeeeeaaase come out and support Us! I promise You that no matter what Your impressions are of this movie so far, This Saturday will blow Your mind. Plus, You'd get to meet Sanvean, and see Us perform, which will include me dancing in (pretty much) my underwear. :D
