Wasabi Dill Pizza
1 pita bread
4 oz. plain Silk soy milk
wasabi paste (use sparingly - very HOT!)
dried dill weed
white pepper
potato flakes
2 slices of Tofurkey deli meat (cut into cubes)
arugula (cut up to release flavors)
soy cheese
pepper to taste
fresh herbs
balsamic vinegar
Heat soy milk in the microwave until it begins to boil. Slowly mix in potato flakes and stir with a spatula to get a smooth runny-like consistency.
Next, add the desired amount of wasabi paste, dried dill, and white pepper that you want. (Yes, it will be very green in color!!) Stir it all together and then pour it onto the vegan bread.
Take the Tofurkey and spread it on top. Do the same with the arugula. Then, you take the soy cheese and cover the entire pizza.
Sprinkle pepper on top and place it on a pizza stone in the oven @ 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. For an extra crispy top, broil it for 2 minutes or so. I also put fresh herbs like mint, basil, and rosemary on top after it is done. I also dip my pizza in balsamic vinegar, Hope you enjoy!!!
SO HOW'D IT GO?
