SO HOW'D IT GO?

I LOVE this recipe.  I make it just as is with the tofu, soymilk and water and one tsp each of vanilla and cinnamon.  I don't add any sweetener, but that's personal preference.  With maple syrup and whatever fruit you have, these are amazing.  I'm a pretty picky vegan, and I adore this recipe.  The only issue I have is that it sticks with the vegan margarine I use, so I'm scheming to figure out how to prevent the sticking.  I might toss it on my George Foreman grill (remember those!) and see if it works.

This recipe is pretty awesome.  A few tweaks...this DOES need a sweetneer in the batter....a couple tbs of sugar and extra cinnamon!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY GOODNESS! This is the best recipe ive found on VegWeb to date! Maple syrup is a must! We added a bit of agave to the mix as well....We took the suggestion to use Ezekiel bread and made French Toast Sticks.

I cannot even express how DELICICIOUS this was.  :-D

These were SO good.. I used Ezekiel bread cut into thirds to make French Toast Sticks.. also I didn't have soymilk, so I used coconut milk and I used extra-firm tofu cuz when it is blended up it works just the same ;).. I didn't have fresh fruit or granola or maple syrup, so I just melted some margarine with some Boysenberry syrup for dipping.. Thanks for the yummy recipe!

:O That sounds so good! i have some Ezekiel bread in my fridge right now, and it is now destined to be French Toast Sticks!
