Simple Baked Tofu

What you need:

1 package firm tofu
small pinch dry oregano
pinch paprika
pinch garlic powder
pinch onion powder
pinch chili powder
pinch fennel spice, optional
olive oil

What you do:

Preheat the oven to 375.
Press as much liquid out of the tofu as you can. Then cut the tofu into slightly large, bite-sized squares.
Place the tofu on a baking sheet, and sprinkle with all the spices. Lightly drizzle with olive oil.
Mix it all together with your hands, making sure the tofu is well coated with the spice-oil mixture.
Space the tofu out on the baking sheet, and bake until the tofu is crispy on the outside. Enjoy!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

this is a good, very simple way to make tofu.  I actually added some break crumbs to the spices to create a little crust, but it seemed like it lacked moisture.  Maybe frying them after baking them would help.  I also used cayenne pepper to give it some kick, which worked out nicely.
