Raw Nut Burger

What you need:

1 cup soaked walnuts
1/4 cup sundried tomatoes, soaked
1/2 jalapeno (optional)
1 clove garlic
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon miso
1 teaspoon cayenne (optional)
Water, as needed

What you do:

1) In a food processor bowl fitted with a metal blade, combine all ingredients. Pulse to combine. Not too chunky and not too pasty. This is where you may need some water if it is too dry. It depends how well you drained your tomatoes and nuts.
2) Form into patties and place on a nonstick dehydrator sheet. Dry for about 45 minutes. Serve on your favorite raw bread or lettuce and all the fixins!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

these were pretty good.  Mine didn't end up sticking together well, but I'm not sure if maybe I didn't grind up the ingredients well enough or if I didn't leave it on the D long enough...I doubt it was the recipe's fault, but my own dumb fault.

Whether or not they stuck together they were frackin' TASTY.  I used an entire jalapeno, instead of 1/2, I also used some onion (maybe that's why they didn't stay together?) and I didn't have miso so I used some soy sauce instead.

I can't remember what I all spiced it with.  Probably cayenne and cumin!

Anyway, very good, and I ate them with avocado fries!
