Left Over Rice Porriage

What you need:

1 cup left over brown rice
1-1/2 cups water
dried fruit, diced
cinnamon
maple syrup
parsley
walnuts

What you do:

This on if kinda hard to write down cause its really a whatever you feel like food.
1. Take the rice, water and dried, diced fruit and place in a pot.
2. Bring to a boil, then reduce and let simmer until water is absorbed. Place in a bowl and add your toppings. I prefer putting more of the fruit (dried apricots for me) cinnamon, maple syrup, parsley and walnuts on top.
(The drink next to it in the picture is a refreshing way to start your day too. It's just pure fruit nectar (NOT from concentrate) mixed with sparkling mineral water. Its way better than soda and will give you that crisp jump start you need to start your day.)
Source of recipe: I make this however I want and others are free to do the same. again the base recipy is well known but its up to anyone who uses it to make it to their taste.
