SO HOW'D IT GO?

I tried these as I wanted to get some kale into my diet for the veg-a-month.  I'm glad I did as I reall liked the.

Interestingly enough just like dawnedolittles experience, my omni bf also turned his nose up at them after trying one!
I didn't mind though coz I thought they were great.

I had small peices of kale and spread them one layer thick - they only took about 10-12mins to crispen up.  Yummy!

I thought these were pretty good.  I had a hard time getting them to dry out though.  They were in the oven for a half hour and there were still a few stragglers.  I would definitely recommend realy spreading them out.  They were really tasty and I liked the texture of the ones that got dry.  I ate the lot myself, seeing as my husband (omnivore) turned up his nose after trying one.

YUMMY I did over do it with the salt like Hopfrog. Next time I will use way less salt.  My 11 year old who is very picky gobbled it up.  Great recipe. I will begin to experiment with onion powder, garlic powder and maybe even curry.

I found this recipe about a month ago, and it sounded like it would be awesome, so I gave it a try.  I love these chips!  I make them regularly.  None of my friends can get into them, but I think they're fantastic.  I use just a bit of oil, a couple tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, and a goodly portion of black pepper and powdered garlic.  I like mine really crispy, so I bake them for about fifteen to eighteen minutes.  They make my apartment smell so good, but I've taken to calling them Buffalo Breath chips for obvious reasons.  :)  Thanks for the great idea!

Yeah, my experience has been that you have to do it just right (I've made it 2-3 times). The first time..they didn't all get crispy so many of them were gross and soggy (the crispy ones were great)..so the next time I decided I just needed to bake them longer..they were definitely all crispy but VERY VERY VERY bitter and disgusting (we choked them down). I think you have to get the seasoning just right and bake them long enough to all get crispy..but not any longer than that (might be detrimental to have them all the same size?).

I hate to say this but this was seriously the grossest thing I have ever had in my entire life, seriously, the taste made me want to barf. I must have done something wrong because so many people loved it SO much. We wasted so much kale with this recipie cause we had to throw it all in the trash
