These are great! Just make sure you cook them enough that they are crispy, not as good if they are a bit soft.

I was so excited to try this, but when I did, it was not good to me AT ALL. :'(  It just tasted like burnt kale with a hint of vinegar and seasonings. I tried different seasonings, and added more vinegar because I always have loved salt & vinegar potato chips, let them bake longer to make sure they were crispy,  but nothing worked FOR ME.  :-\
HOWEVER, my children (ages 3 & 4) LOVE them! They even liked the ones that didn't get fully crispy. I will continue to bake kale (chips) for a healthy snack.  :)

Actually, the best and most nutritious way to make kale chips is in the dehydrator set at 105 degrees. Yes it takes longer (about 3 hours)  but it is much healthier and keeps their fresh flavor.

I agree, but unfortunately I don't have a dehydrator.

I lucked out with having a wonderful BF who bought me one for our 4 yr anny together, it is a good 9 tray Excaliber, was a little pricey, but so worth the money. Don't waste your $'s on the cheap round ones, they don't work that well and you can use the $s you spend on them towards the better product.

Good luck! Please feel free if you need help with finding good raw vegan info!

I have seen this recipe on Vegweb for years, and never gotten around to making it.  Well, I finally made these and they are delicious!  I just used pepper and salt, and it was good!  I mixed the kale around about half way through cooking, and ended up cooking them for 13 minutes.  They are very addicting.

Now they are selling these in a bag at my job for around 8 bucks. For that you get about a handful of chips - lame. I'm glad they kept them vegan and made some cool flavors with sesame seeds but that price is ridiculous. I'm just going to make these!

Been meaning to write a review. These are awesome!!! Omni hubby loved them so much the next day he went out and bought 6 packs of kale seeds for the garden. Said he didn't want me to run out of kale :)>>>

This is the first time I've ever had kale, so I decided to just make a small batch in my toaster oven just in case I didn't like it. Well, now I wish I'd made a whole batch because these were DELICIOUS!! I am going to make the remainder of my kale tomorrow, yum! Thanks for such an easy recipe! :)
