chocolate balls

What you need: 

1 1/2 cups crunchy peanut butter
1 cup vegan carob chips
1/4 cup unsweetend cocoa powder
1 cup maple or cane sugar
3 cups quick oats (or more for texture preference)
3/4 cup raisins
1/3 cup chopped almonds (optional)

What you do: 

1. Melt peanut butter, carob chips, sugar, and cocoa in a pan.
2. Remove from heat and stir in raisins and quick oats until blended. Add almonds, if using. Cool slightly.
3. Roll into balls and place in the freezer.
Yum.
Source of recipe: I had a sweet tooth, so I became creative with what I had in my cabinet and my family loves them!!
