Chickpea-Pasta Goodness

What you need:

1 box of any pasta, Kendra likes to use ziti
1 large can of chickpeas
1 large can of tomatoes
1 onion (chopped)
2-3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
some good olive oil
some fresh basil
a good shake of red pepper flakes
salt & pepper to taste

What you do:

Boil your pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside. Meanwhile, saute your onion and garlic in the olive oil, stir in the tomatoes. Drain and rinse the chickpeas, and add them to the pasta.
Dump your olive oil-onion-garlic-tomato mixture onto the pasta and chick peas, throw in some fresh basil. Toss it, season it, eat it. VOILA!

This was really good and full of flavor while still being super simple to prepare. I left out the basil but did everything else as listed. Thank you for a great recipe.
