1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise (I used Grapeseed Oil Vegenaise)
1/2 cup soy yogurt or vegan sour cream (I used Better than Sour Cream by Tofutti)
2 teaspoons canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, pureed
1 tablespoon lime juice
1-1 1/2 teaspoons garlic, chopped
salt, to taste
1. Mix all ingredients together. Use more vegan yogurt or sour cream for milder flavor.
2. Chill until serving.
Source of recipe: I didn't see any chipotle recipes on this website, so I googled chipotle sauce and melded a couple recipes together to make it vegan. Brought it to potluck at my church yesterday and it was a hit. It was the biggest hit with my husband.
