I'm pissed at the constant want of the republican majority to find ways to take away voting rights away from citizens.
I'm pissed at the criminalization or dismissal of women only because they're women. This constant need to dominate them or to make their decisions for them or to pat them on the head is absurd.
I'm pissed at the radical religious (not all religious) getting a free ride when it comes to spewing their hate speech. Calling people fags and celebrating their death isn't religion.
I'm pissed at people refusing to help the environment in any way. I'm not perfect but I'm doing all I can and still want to do more. Don't make fun of me or give me shit because I choose to recycle or refuse to become an out-of-control consuming sheeple.
I'm pissed at not having equal rights and opportunity for everyone.
I'm pissed at the fact that gays are denied a right to live the lives they choose.

Sorry...it's election day here in Ohio and I always get fired-up/pumped-up on election day.

Yes and her other grandchildren eat crap ( white rice or bread and junk food), she even had the gall to sit there and feed the second youngest grandchild bacon (yeah because that's a healthy thing for a one year old to eat) and go on ( very loudly and obnoxiously)  saying 'mm mm bacon is good for you, you like bacon don't you blah blah etc'

Is there nowhere else you can dance?  Every dance "season"? these people mess with your emotions and head.  It's a toxic relationship.  There has to be a place, e.g., workshops, where you can cruise around for a different dance group that's not filled with toxic poop.

We had a special election yesterday. There was ONE promising candidate for Senate--a sane, intelligent woman who actually cares about education, the environment, and Y'know, not furthering the oppression and chaos that rules this state--out of a bunch of conservative old dudes.
She ended up with like 9% of the vote.
Most Georgia voters are so goddamn shortsighted and ignorant, it's fucking sick.*grindgrindgrind*

In non-grinding news, Iowa maintained a progressive majority by electing Liz Mathis (who actually gives a shit about improving education and employment), and by not allowing a constitutional marriage amendment which would have fucked up that whole "gay folks can get married here!" thing that Iowa has going now.

WRGMG is people who speak to/treat the elderly as if they were toddlers. That person isn't retarded, they're just older than you. They may be slightly deaf, yes. Raise your voice, speak clearly, but don't treat them as if they were three and you were superior to them. Even those in wheelchairs or bent over their canes...they've raised families, held jobs, done great things in life. They've survived. And in the case of the neighbours I saw this morning...heck, girl, she raised YOU. She hasn't become mentally disabled just because she can no longer walk!! I saw your mother's eyes this morning as you were bending over her cooing at her in that too loud, too bright voice that in this country is used for tiny babies. She thinks you're an idiot, and she HATES being talked to like that, particularly by you.
I wish people would treat the disabled with respect. They're human beings, not toys or imbeciles.
Her daughter would hate being spoken to in the very voice she uses with her mother now.
And I bet some day somebody will.
