So I've decided if I ever get tired of teaching (unlikely, but still...) I need to open a vegan restaurant in my town. I hardly ever eat out, mainly because I like my own food better, but every once in a while on a Friday night I think, hmmm, wouldn't it be nice to go out for dinner?
Oh, wait, I'm in a small town in the midwest. Land of the 3-meat plate and the iceberg lettuce salad...
If I ever do it, seriously, can I use recipes off this site? I'll give credit where credit is due!
I'd support you! I posted recipes here knowing that they would be open to the public for almost anything, so I wouldn't mind you using them in your restaurant... in fact I would be flattered! I imagine most of us feel that way.

Well, where it talks about submitting a recipe, it says that we grant VegWeb permission to publish...maybe you should email Yvette as she's the one techincally holding the rights...you can use any of mine you like, though, just look for my moniker. Good idea, and good luck!

I've made it like, 6 times since you posted it.
I will work at your restaurant even though I live in Canada. LOL. I'm from cow country and there isn't even a vegetarian restaurant in the city where I live. I have always wanted to open a vegetarian or vegan restaurant.

Thanks! I'm going to start posting more recipes. Want to open your restaurant in my eco-healing-village? It's another 10-15 years in the making, but that'll just give you more time to live out your teaching career. (; You could always teach on the side at the village, too. ;)

Your eco-healing village sounds an amazing place for a restaurant. Perhaps I could open a school there as well. Maybe I'll incorporate vegan cooking into the curriculum somehow and we could teach children from an early age about nutrition, thus preventing such scary scenarios as discussed in the school lunch thread...
