What did you cook / Eat today? .....A question to drool

We can share in this place, our daily intake of what we cooked and ate. This can be Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.
This can be a real fun thread if people post the photographs too.

Today I prepared Fawa beans-Potato spicy curry and Rotis (Indian breads are my wife's department)
Ate with leftover rice and Moong beans spicy curry and Naga chutney. :)>>>

I'm glad you said 'ex' or I would have encouraged you to dump him.  I take my spicy food seriously.

Probably more seriously than any relationship I've ever been in.

You know, you're absolutely right about that.  Failing to provide chiles would have been grounds to dump him if I hadn't already done so!

I'm out of bananas so I had potato chips for breaky today!  :(

I made applesauce with my giant farmer's market haul the other day, and I had a jar of homemade grape jelly that I haven't inhaled yet, so I blended 'em together and now I'm making apple-grape fruit leather! Yeeee! It should be ready just about the time I wake up tomorrow morning.

And I'm eating K@vli Crispy Pesto flavor crispbread crackers-- these things are INSANELY GOOD. Yumbles.

Okay seriously, these crispbreads are RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. And they're actually pretty low-cal!

Coleslaw with spicy black-bean/sesame dressing and cilantro. Apple. Tomatoes from garden (ohyeahyouheardme, I'm still picking tomatoes from the garden!!  ;)b).

Breakfast/Lunch: PB&J with carrot sticks on the side.

And for some reason I'm starving, I don't know why.  ::)

Sharway I am SO jealous of your tomatoes! In the summer I eat a tomato nayonaise sandwhich everyday.  :)>>>

Dinner: Large three topping pizza from Papa John's (only 11.04, I'm a sucker for a deal). Extra sauce, no cheese, tomatoes, green peppers, jalapeno peppers and added some vegan mozzarella cheese to half of it when it got here.

I had a really really late dinner, but it was good. Nothing exciting though - a blueberry bagel with EB, and a banana with peanut butter. Simple and easy end to my day.

I got my kitchen back!  I can cook again!  Yay me!!!

We had linguine with fire butter, or in this case Earth Balance, for dinner!

Last night, the dinner was Veg fried rice, a sort of veg pulao with usual side dish of raitha.
Today it is going to be crazy with results of Obama/McCain pouring in,
May be I will prepare something easy like Beaten rice .(Matata Poha).

Made chili in the crockpot last night. I'm frrrreezing from standing out in the polling line for two hours, so I'm having hot chili for breakfast!

shar,

You can make it hotter than usual to compensate for the chill you'd be absorbing standing in Q.

Oh don't you worry about my chili-- threw two whole chipotles in there last night during cooking, along with cayenne and the other spices. Although I went hunting for the chipotles this morning to put into my bowl, which means I need to add a few more to the pot otherwise the rest of it will be boring!

shar,

don't you stock the chilli peppers in enough quantities?
I stock my year's requirement in frozen condition.
Can't afford to be out of stock ...EVER. ::)

So true.  I stock mine mostly in dry form.

I have plenty of dried, plenty of pickled, plenty of cayenne powder, and plenty of hot sauces, but I especially wanted chipotles today. Sometimes you just have to indulge a craving!

I just enticed friends to come over to my house for election coverage with the promise of PB&J brownies!! Mmmmmmmmmmm. I'm thinking strawberry jam? (Better than grape jelly, right?)
