Poor Kitty...

I am babysitting my roomate's cat at the moment and during the night, he got stuck in the floor between the basement in my room. I was able to get him out, but I think he is injured now, and I'm afraid I might have done it worse when I carried him... I put him on a pillow next to food and water, but he keeps on moaning... My roomate is supposed to arrive today, I have no idea who her vet is and I have no money to bring him to a vet... I am very worried...

How sad :(

Your roomie should get Norbert's sister checked out for heart problems too. A woman I cat sit for had littermates and one died of heart failure all of a sudden and two weeks later the other one died of heart failure. The vet said it was probably a genetic problem.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I've passed them on to Christine, and she really appreciated it. Her cats are her babies, so you can all understand how hard she's taking it right now. However, she's holding up good. But Norbert's sister, Madame, doesn't eat much, you know she knows that her big bro is not coming back.

Christine will indeed bring her to her vet to have her checked out. The vet she went to see this weekend told her the same thing, that this condition is genetic. So just to make sure that Madame is fine, she will make the appointment.

Thanks again, guys!
